Well time to play the waiting game for season 3…
Nezuko’s blood demon art is tied to her bloodline. She shares the same ancestor with her brother in the Sun Hashira. So similar to her brother she has a natural inclination towards demon slaying fire and hers ironically works on demons like the sun does.
This is completely wrong and even if it wasn’t it would be a spoiler. The real answer, don’t read if you don’t want to be spoiled, is the original Sun user passed his breathing to their ancestors.
“then how will he ever grow character wise?” It’s subtle so you would actually have to pay attention to tell Zenitsu’s been growing.
Most of the demons in Demon Slayer don’t remember their past at all or don’t remember it well. When they get decapitated their “souls” are freed from their demon bodies and they regain their memories. Showing their past before that happens would make no sense in the story, because of what I explained above.
He didn’t remember his past till his sister turned to ash. This was my favourite arc in the manga. It gave what it was supposed to for me, just I had expected the obi to look different so that animation didn’t blow me away. Now we wait…
