“English dub doesnt have emotions” looked like a lot of emotion to me! This episode was everything!
No one says it doesn’t have emotion, just that it’s objectively not as good as Japanese.

I feel like the dub va even understand that’s why allot of them try and kinda mimic the original like gyutaro. Hard to beat the original

I hate that people are just not able to compliment a dub without it being underhanded. “Its great but not as good as the Japanese”. Cause I would say this is just as good as the Japanese. Also imo FMA:B dub better than sub don’t quote me
It’s so frustrating that we still have so many stuck in what is mostly a bygone era of bad dubs. 90% of what comes out nowadays varies from either good to great.
They also make for better reaction content imo. Much easier to actually watch the people reacting while understanding where you are exactly in the video.
Rick complains he doesn’t understand how a character can survive on sheer will. Guts literally does this in almost every fight he’s in.
For me this fight comes in second just behind Dark Saber Vs Rider from Fate Heaven’s Feel. Both fights are from the same studio so it make sense. Dark Saber Vs Berserker is third with (redacted for spoilers) from Fate Apocrypha in fourth.
To bad fate is so complicated and hard to get into notoriously so the plot emotions not there for allot of people

This dub exceeded my expectations, especially Daki and Gyutaro’s performances were awesome.
I give props to Tengen’s va as well, he did a very good job.
But I agree, sub is still superior, especially considering how bad tanjiro’s and inosuke’s va are.
