This was my introduction to Slade, anyone else? Also anyone else find it funny that in this show all our heroes only go by their hero names but never their real one. Then you have your big villain Slade who only ever goes by his real name but never his villain one.

Slade was a Titans villain way before bat-editorial stole him for Batman

not that this is bad or anything, but the dialogue and animation takes a big step up by episode 5, so just hang in there
I can’t say I like the slow and undynamic dialogue we’ve had so far in 5×10 and 1×3. I see how this could be a kid’s favorite show, but so far it seems like it might be nostalgia fueling this fanbase. Unless the show gets drastically different later.

Fun fact, Deathstroke the Terminator or Wade Wilson was created for the New Teen Titans comic books in the 1980s which is the version of the show this cartoon is based on. However, his character has since reached popularity outside of Teen Titans but it is where he’s originally from.
