1. This is a pretty interesting representation of Ivy and Kite Man’s relationship. It’s nice, she likes it, it seems comfortable…but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of personal connection in it, at least from Ivy’s end. She acts embarrassed of him up until he has his big hero moment of saving all their lives and she genuinely can’t come up with anything to say for why she likes him. That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t like him but there does seem to be an implication that she’s not as serious about their relationship as Kite Man is, or at the very least wants to keep it a lot more casual than he does (though he’s definitely proposing WAY too early).

2. This was one my favorite episodes of the season. The ending was shocking and unexpected, the whole episode was great. The episode tied character development, comedy, drama, and tension so well together. Joker telling Fables he wasn’t going to get wasted in the middle of the week in the afternoon was hilarious. Everyone in the crew knowing Ivy was with Kite Man and being surprised Harley didn’t funny and highlights how self-absorbed Harley has been all season.
