1. Since his transformations are seemingly self defense, I’d assume that if they did try to kill him it’d trigger a full transformation so he can defend himself. They’re threats are completely meaningless if that’s the case.

   1. It’s not triggered by self defense. As the spoon shows, it triggered by having a clear goal (in addition to have some form of wound). So, even if they decided to kill him, if he isn’t completely dedicated to stopping, if he even slightly holds back mentally, he won’t transform. I’m not really sure what part of the spoon incident made you think self defense was involved :/

      1. At the time I misunderstood what that shock was when he touched the spoon. I actually thought the spoon shocked him and that “attack” triggered his transformation.
