Apparently the reason the villagers wear those stone sandals with heels is:
“This can protect the wearer’s feet from biting and stinging insects on the ground, and prevent harmful species such as hookworms from burrowing into the soles of their feet.”

Kaseki: ‘Uhp, my hand slipped and I accidentally made a whole gas mask.’ Starts walking away, trips on nothing, or watermelon Suika, or those shoes, ‘oh and now it seems I’ve made a lovely dinette set as well.’ Daydreams about glass for two minutes, comes back to reality to find a whole glass animal menagerie ‘dagnabbit, not again!’
Why does Aaron keep doing this? It’s a pretty simple visual metaphor.

I like that the characters are archetypes. The ultimate warrior, genius, craftsman, etc all represented through “exaggerated” characteristics. It’s mythological. Tsukasa is basically Gilgamesh or Hercules. I thought Aaron loved Hercules lol
